TDC-Olive
TDC-OLIVE project (contract no. FOOD-CP-2004-505524) is
an initiative included in the Sixth Framework Programme of the European
Union, Priority 5, aimed to olive and olive oil SMEs.
Its main goals are:
- Setting up a European network of Technology Dissemination Centres
(TDCs) for table olive processing and olive oil production SMEs
- Promotion of olive oil and table olive consumption in non-Mediterranean
European countries
- Improvement through a training program of olive mills´
and table olives producers´ technical competence and competitiveness
Our main intention is to create a fluid communication network between
all elements involved in the industrial and commercial processes
of the sector (from the producer to the consumer). Our aim is to
reach as many European SMEs as possible in order to assist them.
